Bucknam went on to run for Governor of Wisconsin in 1924 and 1928, losing to John J. Blaine and Walter J. Kohler, Sr.. Additionally in 1928, he made an unsuccessful attempt to become the Prohibition Party's candidate for Vice President of the United States in that year's presidential election. Bucknam also made unsuccessful runs in the Prohibition Party primaries for Governor of Wisconsin in 1926 and 1932. He was a native of Norrie, Wisconsin. ==References==
